Here at Antrek, we can arrange your entire trip including your travel to Manali. Feel free to contact us and book any of the transport which you require.
The easiest way of reaching Manali from Delhi is by bus. There are countless options available although most leave between 5pm and 6.30pm daily. The journey is fourteen hours along winding, mountainous roads and home to some spectacular views as you gain height.
We recommend the HPTDC, AC semi-sleeper busses which come with free mineral water, reclining chairs and leg rests and leaves daily at 5.30pm. They also stop at reputable restaurants for dinner and breakfast along the way.
Chandigarh is the nearest major town to Manali with railway and air facilities. There are seven daily trains which run from Delhi to Chandigarh, from 4.25am to 21.25pm which all take around five hours. Moreover, it is possible to travel to Chandigarh from various other stations including Mumbai and Agra although these trains are less frequent.
To then reach Manali, there are daily busses and we again recommend the HPTDC busses which go via Chandigarh and from here it is a ten hour journey.
It is also possible to book private jeeps from Chandigarh which will allow you more comfort on your journey.
