With many years of angling experience, we have learnt the best sports to catch the brown trout, iron head trout and rainbow trout which are all found south of Manali in the Beas, Sainj and Tirthan Rivers.
As well as day trips, we can create longer excursions to include areas such as the Maharana Pratap Sagar (Pong Dam Wetland) and the Bhakra Nangal Dam where the Mahasheer are found.
Angling is a serious sport and we welcome responsible anglers. There will be a fair amount of trekking involved to reach the best sites and we advise that you have good quality footwear and warm clothes.
In order to make the most of your angling, day trips will involve an early start. We recommend overnight trips as these allow you to reach more remote areas and to start angling earlier in the day when the fish are most active. Our overnight accommodations will either be in local guest houses or tents.
Our rates for day trips include local guides, all angling equipment (although you are welcome to use your own if you have it), the government angling permit, lunch and transport from Manali and back.
