Our mid-length tours encompass a range of sights and activities in Northern India.

Here is an example of what we can offer.

The Himachal Tour – 9 Days/8 Nights

  • Day 1: Delhi-Shimla (370km, 8-9 hours)

    We will collect you from Delhi and get the Shatabdi Express train to Kalka. From here, we will take the Kalka toy train to Shimla which is famed for its breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding villages. Our night here will be spent in a local hotel.
  • Day 2: Shimla

    Today we will enjoy the sights of Shimla. This includes visiting the Wildflower Hall, Indian Institute od Advanced Studies, the Mall (the main shopping area of Shimla), The Ridge, The Gaiety Theatre and The State Museum. We will then stay once more in the local hotel.
  • Day 3: Shimla-Manali (264km, 9 hours)

    Today you will be collected by a private jeep and be taken to Manali where you will spend the night in a local hotel.
  • Day 4: Manali

    Today, we have a full day to enjoy the sights of Manali. These include the Hadimba Temple, Old Manali, Manu Rishi Temple and nearby Vashist which is home to hot sulphur springs. In the evening, you are free to explore the Mall in Manali and we will stay again in a local hotel.
  • Day 5: Manali

    We will travel a bit further afield today to the Rohtang Pass (3978km). On the way, we will pass Nehru Kund, the Solang Valley (a popular ski and snow sports area) and the beautiful Rhala Falls. At the Rohtang Pass, we will enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and glaciers. At the end of the day we will return to our hotel in Manali.
  • Day 6: Manali-Naggar-Manikaran-Dharamshala (310km, 11 hours)

    In the morning we will drive to Naggar where there is a castle dating to 1460AD and overlooks the Kullu Valley. Next, we will drive to Manikaran which is a popular pilgrimage centre and has hot springs for yu to enjoy. The final leg of the day will take us to Dharamshala and onto McLeodganj to spend the night in a local hotel.
  • Day 7: McLeodganj-Khajjiar (150km, 5 hours)

    McLeodganj is home to His Holiness the Dali Lama. Close to the village is the Bhagsung Temple and a beautiful waterfall. We will visit the cultural museum, the Nechung and Tsechokling Gompas. In the afternoon, we will take the scenic route to Khajjiar via Shahpur, Lahru, Chowari and Joi and will spend the night in Khajjiar in a local hotel.
  • Day 8: Khajjiar-Dalhousie (24km, 1 hour)

    Our morning will be spent seeing the sights around Khajjiar which includes the Khajjinag Temple which was built in the 16th century. There is also the chance to take part in pony rides and zorbing here. Afterwards, we will proceed to Dalhousie via the small village of Panchpula which is famed for its gushing streams. At Dalhousie we will enjoy visits ti the churches of Saint John and Saint Francis and will stay overnight in a local hotel.
  • Day 9: Dalhousie-Delhi (590km, 13-14 hours)

    We can spend the day in Dalhousie before we take you to the bus which will return you to Delhi.

The Lakes of Ladakh – 10 Days/9 Nights

  • Day 1: Manali

    We will meet you in Manali and check you into a local hotel before spending the rest of the day exploring the local sights which include the Hadimba Temple, Manu Rishi Temple, the Tibetan Monsatery and the nearby town of Vashist which is famed for its hot water sulphur springs.
  • Day 2: Manali-Jispa (153km, 8 hours)

    After breakfast we will leave for Jispa. This takes us through the Rohtang Pass (3980m) which holds some spectacular views, and then onwards through the picturesque landscape surrounding the Chandra River, Keylong (3350m) which is the capital of the Lahoul Valley until we reach Jispa (3142m). Here we will spend the night in a local hotel.
  • Day 3: Jispa-Tso Kar (200km, 8-9 hours)

    Today we continue to the Baralacha Pass (4900m) and then onto our Sarchu Camp to stop for lunch. Afterwards, we drive through the Nakeela Pass (4965m) and then Lachung La (5100m) on our way to Pang, More Plain and then to Tso Kar (4600m which is a famous salt water lake. We will spend the night camping here.
  • Day 4: Tso Kar-Tsomiriri (135km, 8 hours)

    Our route today takes usover Polakongka La (5159m) and Namashang La (5300m) to Korzok where there is a Tibetan monastery. A short drive after this will bring us to Tsomiriri, home to one of the World's highest lakes and the nomadic Khampa people. Here we will camp overnight.
  • Day 5: Tsomiriri-Pangong Lake (325km, 11 hours)

    After breakfast we will begin by driving through Namashang La (5300m), Kere, Kumdok and Karu before arriving at Pangong Lake in the early evening. We will camp here overnight.
  • Day 6: Pangong Lake-Hamis-Thikse-Shey-Leh (150km, 8 hours)

    We will start our day by visiting Hamis, home to the oldest and largest monastery in Ladakh. Then to Stok Palace and Museum, Phyang Monastery, Thikse Monastery and then onto Shey where there is both a monastery and palace. Afterwards we will end the day in Leh to stay in a local hotel.
  • Day 7: Leh

    We have a rest day in Leh to acclimatize. Here we can visit Leh Palace, Shankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Leh Bazaar and explore the local area. We will stay nce more in a local hotel here.
  • Day 8: Leh-Khardung La-Nubra Valley (125km, 5-6 hours)

    Today we will visit Khardung La (5602m) which is the highest motorable pass in the World and then onto Diskit, the capital of the Nubra Valley and where we will spend the night in a local hotel.
  • Day 9: Nubra Valley-Leh (125km, 5-6 hours)

    Reaching the end of our journey, we will trace our route back to Leh to spend the night in a local hotel.
  • Day 10: Leh

    Today we can either take you to Leh domestic airport for an onwards flight to Delho or return you to Manali with a night spent at our Sarchu Camp.
