long treks
Our longer treks allow travelers the chance to experience some incredible sights which are well off of the beaten track. Below is an example of what we can offer.
Here is one of our top itinerary:
Hemis Trek : 16 days / 15 nights

Day 1: Manali - Keylong (115km, 5 hours driving)
We start our journey by travlling through the magnificient alpine country, over Rohtang Pass (3978m) to Keylong. Here we can visit the Khardung Monastery before spending the night in a local hotel.

Day 2: Keylong-Sarchu (45km, 1-2 hours driving)
After breakfast, we will resume our drive heading over the Baralacha Pass (5100m) and onwards to our camp at Sarchu (4100m). Here you will have the rest of the day free to explore the local area.

Day 3: Sarchu-Brandy Bridge-Jutka (2 hours driving and four hours trekking)
In the early morning we will drive to Brandy Bridge. From here, we will start our trek to Jutka where we will camp overnight by the river.

Day 4: Jutka-Morangla Pass
After breakfast, we will begin our scenic route from Jukta to Morangla Pass.

Day 5: Morangla (six hours trekking)
Our day starts with the steep climb up to Moragla (5300m) before heading downwards to a camp in nearby meadows.

Day 6: Morangla-Lun
Today we have a long but not too strenuous route to Lun which is on a plateau. For part of our journey, we will follow a beautiful river before reaching the camp for the night.

Day 7: Lun-Lungmo Che
A delightful trek to the summer village of Lungmo Che where we will camp for the night.

Day 8: Lungmo che-Dat
Our route will take us up to the peak of Yar La (4950m) which is home to some fantastic views of the Rupshu Valley. There is then an easy descent to our camp at Dat for the night.

Day 9: Dat-Karnak
This is a fascinating day walking along rivers and wooded gorges. We will camp overnight at Karnak (4000m).

Day 10: Karnak-Kang Yaze
We will start the day by climbing up to Sorra Chu (4200m) before continuing to Langtang Chu and Kinka Wangpo. Finally, we will reach Kang Yaze where our camp will be hidden behind the rocks in a beautiful valley.

Day 11: Kang Yaze-Nimaling
Today will take us to the summer pastures of Nimaling which is one of the most beautiful high valleys in Ladakh. Here we will camp overnight.

Day 12: Nimaling-Latze Kongmaru
The day begins with a gradual climb of Kongmarula (5150m) and from the pass we can enjoy lovely views of the norther face of the Kang Yaze Peak. Having crossed the pass we will descend to Latze Kongmaru to camp overnight.

Day 13: Latze Kongmaru-Shang Sumdo
This journey takes us through several gorges and there are a few rivers to be crossed. It will lead us to the small village of Shang Sumdo where we will camp nearby.

Day 14: Shang Sumdo to Martselang
This is a lovely route and we can stop to visit the stunning monastery. Overnight, we will either camp or stay in the Hemis Monastery Dormitory.

Day 15: Martselang-Leh
Today we drive you to Leh where we will spend the night in a local guest house and you have the rest of the day free to explore the local area.

Day 16: Leh-Nubra Valley
We will drive you to the Nubra Valley where you will stay in a local guest house. Nearby sights include Diskit, Sumar and Samtenling.
The journey can either end here or we can return you to Manali with another overnight stop at our Sarchu camp.
